To manage your employees more effectively, you can define a list of employees or teams for Housekeeping in advance. On this list, you can enter all housekeepers and specify whether each one is currently on shift or not. This will optimize the process of assigning daily tasks. Not only will you be able to assign tasks to housekeepers more easily, but the system will also help by filtering employees who are on shift.  To configure the list:

  • From the navigation menu, select Housekeeping Assistant->Housekeeping tasks;
  • Go to the "Housekeepers" page;
  • Select the "+" button in the upper right corner and fill in the fields:
    • Name (1) - name of the employee or team;
    • Language (2) - select the language the employee will use the "Housekeeper App" in;
    • On shift (3) - indicates whether the employee is currently on duty. Used for automatic task assignment and filtering the list of housekeepers;
    • Allow Minibar charges (4) - if enabled, allows the employee to charge the minibar to reservations through the  "Housekeeper App".

Tip: With an existing list of housekeepers, you can easily toggle the "On shift" and "Allow Minibar charges" settings by directly clicking the respective cell.

Note: Defining a list of housekeepers is not mandatory. You can use the Housekeeping module without this functionality. Keep in mind that in this case, you will not be able to use the "Housekeeper App", and during automatic task assignment, instead of names, the system will assign housekeeper numbers, which you can change if needed.
